Rapid Rules and Regulations (Fide Rated)

Date: 10/4/2024 (Wednesday, Hari Raya Puasa)

Time: 1 pm - 6.30 pm

Venue: Oasia Hotel Novena, 8 Sinaran Drive, (Basement 1 - Function Room) Singapore 307470

Tournament Format: 7 Rounds Swiss System, 15 minutes + 2 seconds increments

"Strictly One Accompanying Adult/Guardian" During The Tournament will be given a wrist-tag

Additional accompanying adult/guardian without wrist-tag are strictly not be allowed into the tournament venue and waiting area, unless they purchase the wrist-tag at $10 per pax (inclusive of free flow coffee and tea)
Due to Fire-Safety reasons, the hotel has requested to limit to only "One Accompanied Adult/Guardian" during the tournament.
If the child is independent, parents can leave their children at the tournament and fetch them at 6.45pm

Only "1" Free Flow Drink Package Will Be Given Per Entry Fee

If player is 13 years old and above, he/she will be entitled to free flow coffee/tea
If player is 12 years old and below, Only 1 accompanying adult will be entitled to free flow coffee/tea

Strictly No Outside Food and Drinks

No outside food or drinks to be consumed in the hotel premises and hotel function room.

Dress Code For Players

Smart Casual: Long pants/jeans with covered shoes. Strictly no low cut shorts/ berms/ flip flops/ singlets/ revealing clothes

Strictly No Refund Policy

Participants understand that upon payment, there is strictly no refund or transfer to other tournament dates (unless tournament is fully signed up)

Declaration

I hereby certify that Singapore Chess Infinity and staff/volunteers are not liable for any loss, damages or injury which may be sustained by the player during the tournament. I have read through and acknowledge the Singapore Chess Infinity's Rules & Regulations and will abide and respect their final decisions made
